Monday, Monday

Well, back to the daily grind. I wish it would have snowed more last night, like a blizzard, so I could have been stuck warm in bed with Tony all day. That would be so much better than sitting in front of this computer and doing work I don't feel like doing. I had fun this weekend though...we only have 24 more trees left, and we're sold out! And even with less trees than my Dad usually sold, we kept up with his numbers pretty well, and may have even beat them had we had about 200 more trees. So, I'm happy with that knowledge. Plus, I met some really fun and special people through this whole experience, people whom my father touched even though he only met them once a year on the holidays. People who cried because he was part of their whole Christmas experience. You really start to understand how much one person can touch so many lives. My dad was a really special guy, and he is sorely missed by so many more people than I ever imagined. But at least I know his spirit and memory lives on in many hearts and homes, where his trees are standing proudly, and decorated with all types of decorations, and making homes smell like Christmas.

Decorating at Tony's on Friday night was fun...with his son dancing around with a mic and pretending to sing "Feliz Navidad," while Tony played drums, was delightful. The Holiday Eggnog left much to be desired however...a world to the wise, do not buy Pennsylvania Dutch Eggnog. It made me sick. I think I'm going to take Steve's advice, and stick to Evan Williams. If I can find it anywhere. I passed out in the middle of "Elf" however, so I have no idea how the movie ends. I can't stay awake anymore! Last night I fell asleep in the middle of the Colts v. Ravens game, and missed all the action. I gotta stop doing that. Tonight, it's off to Chickie's and Pete's to have crab fries and enjoy the Angelo Cataldi show with Tony and Ant. MMM...crab fries!!!!!! They are the best things in the world. Denise, I know you hear me on that one.

Linz and I went to that new club next to Bankshots on Saturday night, and it was pretty cool. Although Linz and I proved once again that when you get a guy to buy you shots, talking about your boyfriends is a surefire way to scare them off. But then the owner came and talked to us to get our opinion on his club. It's basically like the Red Room, only not quite as expensive. And it was kind of a nice change of pace. Very chill, and without all the annoying riffraff. We'll see how it does in the coming months. Alright, back to work for me. Yippee!
