Hindsight...

Ever wish in hindsight that you'd done something differently? I'm sure that everyone has. There are lots of things that I know I would do differently in hindsight. Hindsight is always 20/20, and the longer I'm on this earth, the more I see how much it comes into play. Tonight, for me, it's that I wish I had taken more time to learn the piano, or something musical, from my grandfather... my Pop-Pop V. He was so incredibly talented, and I never wanted to sit still long enough to really learn from him. Tonight, listening to Tony and his friend Matt play and record, I want nothing other than to have either a) an awesome voice or b) some type of musical talent that could contribute to what he's doing. It would make it all that much more fun. But I was an ass and couldn't learn. Go figure. Had I known I would end up with a musician, my ass would've learned how to play music. Not just dance to it.

Not taking the piano seriously has to be the top regret of people who had a few lessons when they were ten. (It is for me.)

Thanks for stopping by Delawareliberal!
