Well, I just signed a pre-lease to my very first apartment. Finally!!!! It will be my very own place...at least until the end of August...when hopefully something else will have already come my way, and I will be moving into something more permanent. I can hardly wait. Neither can my cats, either, I don't think. They are officially fed up with my sister's cat, who torments them nonstop all day. The only thing I dread is the actual moving part. I wish there were some way to make things easier... I refuse to pay someone to move me, especially since it costs an arm and a leg, and I'm not that lazy, and I don't have quite that much stuff yet. I've already started packing, and I don't move until the middle of February. But at least I'll be ready when I do. Despite the fact I won't be there very much, there is something nice to knowing that I have my own place to go to if I don't feel like dealing with people...and if I want someone to come and visit from out of town, they have somewhere to stay. Now the only thing I have left to do is find a stinking job....somewhere...cuz I can't stand mine anymore, and it's not getting me anywhere. I need to start my career...and soon.
